Pruitt had his assistant inquire about obtaining a used mattress from a Trump hotel. Is he just really cheap or is this some fetish I've never heard of?

My guess is that he is hiding bodies of folks from the EPA who didn't agree with him. He's a bad man.

This is my favorite part:

The Hart's condo arrangement with Pruitt was already rocky. The EPA chief was reportedly slow to pay his rent and the Harts eventually had to change the locks.

So, Pruitt wasn't even paying the $50 per night discounted rent on time. The hits keep on coming with this guy.

If we can get over the my side vs your side crap and just do what is right, we would all be better off.

Pretty sad that Repubs on this board won't call for Pruitt's resignation. Pretty obvious he's as corrupt and swampy as anyone in the Cabinet. The embodiment of Tribalism.

Fire him. Do away with the position so no more swamp monsters can exploit the position.

That last line is very telling: When reached by phone, Jahan Wilcox, an EPA spokesperson, would not comment. He said: "You have a great day, you're a piece of trash."

Somebody needs a crash course in what it means to work in a tax payer funded, public service capacity. That type of unbridled arrogance begins at the top. An employee only behaves that way on the job when they are certain there will be no adverse consequences for it.

It's been reported that John Kelly has lobbied Trump multiple times for Pruitt's resignation.
