Dumb stuff I want.

What kind of horse? (Quarter horse, Anglo-Arab, etc.) Riding can keep balance and strength muscles really well-tuned, so serious apologies for parroting things at you that you already know
He’s an old Quarter horse. He’s basically a giant dog. Doesn’t ride anymore but still a friend. He lives with a friend who has horses. I only get to see him once a week but he’s happy with friends and always happy to see us.

Happy in the pasture, switching off flies with the help of another horse friend, and an occasional carrot or apple from a human friend. A nice way to ease into retirement. 💕

I miss biking to work. The last place I lived in Cali my ride to work was largely on dedicated bike trails. I would go up to a month without buying gas.
backroads would be over 40 miles one way. Without a shower at the recruiting station. Aint nobody got time for that.

The Chief of Staff at the NATO HQ I was at was a hilarious Air Marshall with the Royal Air Force (3 star General equivalent). He lived about 8 miles from our HQ and would bike to and from work regularly. Always wanted to be able to do that. It’s a lot easier when your office is equipped with your own shower…

Air force always needs a shower and bed.
