Meh. Not many fanbases are happy with their coordinators, but all fanbases are littered with ignorant nincompoops. Take Georgia, for example. Some of them don’t like Chaney. Dumb.

Chaney's UGA O in the latest SECCG produced in the 2nd half 17 rushing yards and 66 total yards in their second straight loss to Bama. You tell me how dumb it is not to cosign Chaney's performance?? There is evidence and not just with Bama that when things get tight, Chaney goes brain dead and not ready for the big time.

I'm calling BS on Doug Mathews...i can't stomach any more "sources" with their high percentage beliefs that a coach has been chosen :rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes: the media surrounding this team is literally the worst in the nation. last year, we hired gruden, schianno, kevin steele, les miles, and mike leach... now we've hired kitchens, freeze, briles, yurcich, enos, and have successfully lured chaney back to knoxville from a team that's gone to a national championship, won the rose bowl, and won a sec championship....

For Pete's sake. We had Chaney and he actually had some weapons to work with, probably better skill players than we have now, and it was a disaster. Just because he's done better at UGA with bunch of future NFL starters doesn't mean he can do it here. We need someone who can adjust the system to get the most out of the talent we have.

Not being able to outscored that fail doesn't equal disaster.

Don’t know if he was officially in Knoxville recruiting for Bama but was at South-Doyle talking to their head coach Clark Duncan

I wouldn't call Chaney a disaster at Tennessee. Dooley's defenses were frequently the problem, especially in 2012. If Tennessee had just an adequate defense in 2012, we might've won 9 games. Seriously.

Chaney, Bray, and that entire offense rarely did anything worth a damn against a good defense. Bray was great at throwing for 400+ yards and 5 TD against crummy defenses - he could really light it up against them. But the offense wasn't really the problem.

Pruitt has made his choice.
To hire Will Friend if he gets shut down by everyone else.

He also made his choice to hand cuff his OC and force him to play an offense that didnt suit the personnel. He made a choice to overpay a “buddy” for Oline coach which also created tension in the staff.
