Briles apparently gets to bring his guy (the OL coach) or guys with him to FSU. Here we're stuck with Pruitt's bestie Will Friend. Already making the same mistakes insecure Butch made: surrounding himself with his buddies.

He verified that what the Beav said lined up with some sort of country club stuff (who's the bartender or some goofball thing like that.) He wasn't "cosigning" the claims.

He did say, however, that he and multiple other boosters had been conned by Currie about Gruden being recruited, and he and they were pretty pissed when they found out that they had been played. Last seen he was headed up I-75 to Knoxville to raise hell.

Conspiracy theory:

Briles is coming and bringing his OL coach and possibly others.
We don't want to let any more of our offensive coaches go before early signing day so we'll sit on this info until after the ESD paperwork is in.

I thought about this as well, but it would be an awful way to start with those players. Lying to them would cause more harm than good.
