I did not say "move" I said MAYBE they should. I try to not tell a fan or any other person what to do in any situation. I guess I have broken a rule set down to me many years ago to not TELL someone what to do unless they ask. Or unless I have the position of authority over the situation. Anyway, I was not telling anyone to move their fan support, just making a suggestion if they felt a certain way. Sorry to stir you up like this.

I get it that I like everyone else would like to know who. Although not sure how its a joke just because no information is leaking. We have to come with realization that Freeze seemingly had too much baggage for a big P5 job even as a coordinator. Him going to Liberty is pretty telling that no one could hire him that really wanted him in a P5 school. Think about it. USC, FSU, AL, and UT all had interest but declined the deal. Think about it. Turner Gill only made 650K a year as a HC. Freeze would have just about made double at any of those other jobs as an OC. Bad thing is 5 years ago Freeze is hired no questions asked.

My gut feeling is that we are hiring an NFL guy or Enos.

Makes no sense, and coaches except jobs every year from other teams even when they have a game left.

Unless they want to allow the coach to announce it to his players himself instead of hearing about it on ESPN.

I don't care if the guys still coaching for a bowl or NFL, MAKE A MOVE AND ANNOUNCE IT!! Have you noticed how everybody made quick hires at other schools but it's always Tennessee that takes forever ridiculous!!!!

Hope so. But why in the world would he leave a great, championship program with great players, guaranteed success and a very short road to getting his own head coaching job.......to come to work at Tennessee, where he would literally have none of that?

Yet, he constantly says he doesn’t talk with Fulmer because he doesn’t want to put Phil in an awkward position based on what Doug says on his show. So how connected is he really?

I know he gets to go see practices, and does talk to the coaches and others around the program. But, he sure seems less credible each and every week I listen to him. I don’t know, perhaps he does know what he’s talking about....there’s just no evidence to back him up.

Oh ffs!!! I don’t think anyone knows who or when the announcement will be. Besides this is really getting old. I’ll come read comments when the guy is named. All of this speculation is bout to piss me off!!
