I do too. It was his dream job. Although I think there's a good chance we'd be on probation if Kiff stayed.
I don't know about the probation... that investigation was cleared.
What I do know, though, is that Kiffin's teams had far, far more on-the-field character than any team Dooley has shown us--and that's supposed to be CDD's calling card.
Character means you don't let some other team come into your house and beat you into quitting in front of 100k+ of your most loyal fans.

Kiffin choked too, stop making him out to be what he is not. The Kiffin era in Tennessee sucked azz, period. Dooley at least will leave the next coach a lot more than that bozo left Dooley.
This is just false. The economy sucks and it is because of DECADES of bad policies. Blaming Bush or blaming Obama is just stupid.
Back to the discussion, Dooley let us down tonight and the idea of him being the right coach is getting grimmer by the game he coaches...
Agree. Stanford owns SC. And remember this was suppose to be their year for a NC. Whatever, its one game. Am I disappointed sure, if he goes 2-6 in the SEC then we have an issue but his and the other coaches contracts almost dictates he stays another year.
So bad as a HFC that he can't keep a staff for a three year tour, and then we up being forced to do all these new contracts for another staff. It's like an addiction. At some point, we just have to quit.
