Dogs

I just walked in on Stevie humping the hell out of Halle Berry, our choc female lab and it about looked just like Billy Bob Thornton and Halle Berry in the Monster's Ball.

He's getting them cut off friday, so I am giving him a couple of days to hump his little ass off. I can't stop laughing.

Male dogs giving themselves relief is a funny sight to behold. That is true indeed.

Freakin' Stevie. Pictures don't turn out worth a damn with the lens cap on.

My Pos Droid HTC is taking terrible pics. This little guy is also a hunter. He found a fox hole and two rabbit holes tonight as I was walking the side yard and a little into the woods. Honestly, I was scared ****less and using the phone as a flashlight. We knew we had at least one fox for the last few years, but didn't know about that hole. I tried to take pics, but even with the flash its just black. I had to pick him up and briskly walked inside like a little fairy. One of those heebee jeebee type, nipple hardening, moments.

Foxes ain't scary. I was driving down a suburban street about a year ago and saw a momma fox and two young ones. It was broad daylight and they were right on the street next to a hole. I stopped to look at them and the momma went into the hole but the two young ones just sat there and looked back at me for about five minutes.

Reggie has a nose for Rabbits. He had part of one in the yard yesterday. And his gas was freaking horrible last night. So we know where the rest of the rabbit was.

I was home one day last winter and there were 8 dogs in my back yard. Reggie was laying in the middle, and the other 7 were in a 20ft circle around him. They just laid there staring at each other for about 5 min. Then Reggie stood up, and took off running, with what looked like a long stick in his mouth. The other dogs chased after him.

Turns out that long stick, was actually a deer leg, and the other part of the leg was flopping along as Reggie ran. Then another dog grabbed the other end of the leg, and pulled it away from Reggie, and they ran in the other direction. After a couple min, the dog laid down, and the other dogs were back in the circle around him.

This went on for about 2 hours. Odd little ritual.

Gets hot as hell here in Texas!!

Stevie's not the same today, as he had his nuts taken off today. I think he is mad at me.

How long before little dogs rebound? Seems like the meds may affect them more than big dogs. Mousse was a little older when we did it, but he shook it off in a day or two and was back to normal
