There should be a football IQ test administered before allowing all the idiots out there to post. You pass, you can post. You don't, then sit back, read (if you can) and maybe learn enough to post.

There is a very few 5 stars for the entire country to share. On a yearly basis there is only 15-30 depending on the scouting service...Tennessee can't get all of them...

The only movement in 4 stars and above we are likely to see until after the first of the year will be JUCO and EE's and that is most likely it...Every other player if they have not committed before the dead period usually waits pretty close to signing day (or high school all america games)...

That's because there are more 3*s period. NC winning programs recruit 4 and 5 star kids, the ratings are usually right. I do like Jones' recruiting however. OP is clueless, he's going after plenty top kids.

Love big bang man! Sad thing is i can actually have a real conversation with them here about Tennessee. Not just people staring at the sun saying we will be ok. Like on here.

We have 5 more 3*s sitting on our commit list right now than Alabama.

UT, in 5 years, has won 28 games and has had 4 head coaches.

Bama, in 5 years, has won 60 games, 2 national titles and playing for 3rd.

Not any of that is Butch Jones' fault, well except for 1 of those 28 wins. You clearly see we have sucked something bad lately, yet you want all these great players to sign here after a week? It will be a miracle if we land in the top 20 this year. Even still, you go on your rant when we just have 5 more 3* than Bama right now.

I'll admit, it does seem that we always have the most 3*'s out of the top 8 SEC teams year in and year out, at least in the past 5-6 years. Like the OP, I want to see us get a lot more 4 and 5 starts, but its going to take a little time. Let CBJ do his thing. All we really need is that ONE 4 or 5* to jump on board and it could be the start of something special!

I said that where exactly? It is just simply dumb to judge a coaches recruiting based on his first week of the job in December. CBJ has been traveling all over this week visiting with top prospects such as Carl Lawson and Marquez North trying to get them on campus for a visit this January. I don't know what the hell you expected to happen in his first week, top prospects are not just going to come flooding to a new coach and a campus they have not yet visited in his first week.

You can't expect 5-7 teams to be pulling a bunch of 4 and 5 stars. I think we signed like five 5*s in 2007, UT can get top recruits when they're winning.
