Dooley is the reason the team quit. Dooley is the head coach of a team that went 5-7. The buck starts and stops with him.

You need a coach that isn't a proven loser. Tennessee does not have that.

According to Dooley, he's not physically strong enough to play in the SEC. He managed to do it as a freshman, but somehow got weaker.

Art Evans, Marsalis Teague and Eric Gordon are first year players? Lanier went to a JUCO did he not?

LOL Grow up. Its not just money that fixes the problem. Its time as well.

You can pay all the money in the world for an Oak tree to grow to 20 feet within a year but it's not going to happen. The good news is that when it is 20 feet it has alot of stability and isn't going anywhere fast.

How much is UT spending on the athletic facilities right now? Do you think UT is going to spend the money to build first class facilities just to serve as on the job training for future coaches?

No way..$5 mil is way too steep. TN has no boosters.. Ride the money maker into the ground to save some change.

and do they always survive at that size in new soil? How much does a 20 foot Oak Tree cost? How many are available?

The real question is - Why not give the tree you planted time to root itself and grow? Why keep making all of the gambles just because you want satisfaction now?

Who is going to poney up that kind of money for a new coach after spending as much as they did on facilities? Do we have boosters just lining up that I am unaware of to throw money at coaches for UT? Are you going to help pay the new coach?

you don't know its dead because we haven't given it enough time to find out.

You seem like a smart guy and you know the cards thats been dealt to CDD and company. Sure he's made a few mistakes and sure this team lost hope but look at the chances of success. I shouldn't even have to post the examples because its like beating a dead horse.

No coach in his right mind would come here to coach for less than $10 million a year, with a fan base that expects a program to be rebuilt in 2 years or your fired
