It is worth noting that the line at Auburn is essentially his product as well. So, 2 of the top 3 (at least this week) can be attributed to Coach Garner. Glad he is here!Coach Garner is developing them! I think he’s one of the most important acquisitions we made player or coach-wise this season. Looking forward to how his guys progress as the season goes on.
I hope the PT he got versus TTU is an indication of that. Solomon is a big dude and has definitely not lived up to his expectations coming out of HS. It would be great for him and for us if he got aggressive about improving his game this year.Better than playing this competition and being mid-pack or lower. They're also improving under Garner on a steady basis. Looks like Solomon is out of the doghouse now and can be an asset.
Baring injuries, we will get better on defense every game we play. I just hope we get some more help for next year. We lose a lot of playersCoach Garner is developing them! I absolutely understand that this can be criticized based on opposition strength, but bottom line is it's improvement, and we need to get used to having nice things again.
So, congratulations Coach Garner and the DL, you've shown up to play the scheduled opponent and done your job well. Keep it up.
