For what it's worth, hawkmoon wrecks in crucible still. Head shot and body shot kill or 3 body shots. So far it outperforms any weapon I have been against 1v1.

I've stuck with the Hawkmoon as well. Range is a bit shorter, but still better than having to spray a bunch of auto rifle bullets.

been playing crucible. won't take long to get to 40 at all. gonna start the story tonight. it gives you an engram to start if you played year one. i got the midas multi tool. that gun is a beast in the crucible. looking forward to some year 2 exotics!

How do you buy just the Taken King DLC on Xbox One? I only see bundles and collector's editions for like $60-$80. I never played the two expansions before I gave up on the game, so I assume I need to get those too?

Just the Taken King is digital and $40. The $60 edition gets you vanilla Destiny, the Taken King and the other two expansions. Yes, I believe you need the other expansions to play the Taken King.

Hell, I might as well get the bundle. I hate having two digital copies of that game though

played the story mode last night. Its been pretty fun, sounds like a dumb complaint but I have a hard time seeing the taken, maybe its supposed to be like that. Also like the components of some of the side missions that are "public events". last night there were 3 of us in the cosmodrome Divide cleaning house waiting for certain enemies to show up.

yes and no. pretty sure you have to plain destiny to play, so it isn't a stand alone. but they completely redid the original destiny with the taken kind. reset item value, how experience is gained and marked, faction stuff etc etc.

Oh okay...I did notice after I downloaded the update* when I was playing the crucible that all the gun damage values had lowered quite a bit....like one shotgun I had was a 242 before and now its a 102...lol

So is this another 40$ paywall download? Does it also greatly handicap the game for users who don't buy the new paywall download?

If I turned on my Xbox, could I play a strike or a raid? Have I lost all my weapons?

If yes to any of it, **** this game and it's developers. Ten year plan of dipping in your pockets.
