Every time I beat him on hard I got crap. XVO Timebreakers or the ship. Aspect of Glass I think it's called?

Never got any weapons from beating him on hard.

Got The Devil You Don't from a ROC strike, other guys backed out immediately, so I just did it solo. Got a better reward for that then the nightfall/weekly/hard mode Atheon.

Up for Anything is decent.

Badger is ok depending on perks. Word is the 4th Horseman is pitiful but I haven't gotten it yet. Still cool to collect another exotic.

I haven't logged on today. Hoping there's an LDR in my mailbox with a different element than the 2 I have. It's a solid sniper that comes in a variety of flavors.

I got whatever shotgun the Vanguard sells. Secret Handshake maybe? Dismantled it once before on an engram drop.

I heard the same about the 4th but I'll be honest I'm not sure where that's coming from. I think it's a great gun. I mean let's be honest shotty's are only worth anything in PvP anyways.

I received the Husk of the Pit last week. It's the second one. The first one I deleted a ways back because It shows level 10, LOL, someone explained to me what to do with it. Now I like 1 button leveling it all the way up...It's a pretty good auto rifle....

I haven't played since Monday so hopefully I'll get a weapon I don't have from Bungie...

Husk of the Pit is an auto rifle that can progress to legendary then exotic. When you first get it the only way to level it up is by killing hive with it. Quickest way I can think of if you want to get it over with is go to The Dark Beyond mission on the moon (I think it is), run it on heroic, and replay that first sequence when the hive run out the door. Don't kill the knight. When you've killed all the hive except the knight, let him kill you to re-start from beginning without the cut-scene. Took me about 15-20 min.

Once it's leveled up you have to buy an embalming orb(I think it's called) from Eris. Requires being level 3 with her. This will make Husk of the Pit a legendary called Eidolon Ally. Now it will upgrade like any other weapon. Enemy kills, bounties, ect.

To make it exotic, the last upgrade node requires material you get from beating Crota's End on hard whenever Bungie releases that. Then it becomes the Nechrochasm.

No problem, I played Hive missions for about 45 min to an hour to make it legendary. Yes I couldn't remember Eidolon Ally, it's a good auto rifle. I have the embalming orb also, just trying to fill in the last button. Hopefully tonight.... :hi:

11 ascendant shards from the nightfall today. Brings my total to well over 100!

At least one of my friends got The Last Word.

Supposedly Bungie fixed the cheese spots in Crota's End. No more good drops out of that first chest. They're adding a chest for beating the deathsinger that can drop exotics. First chest will just be materials. Starting next Tues.

Exotics from VoG will be the new max level.

Iron Banner returns again next week with updated rewards. Maybe I can finally get Ghelon's Demise with 331 attack.

Got the new and improved IceBreaker running the nightfall last night.
Got my last button filled up on my Eidolon Ally, now I need the Crux of Crota, I believe that's what it's called.
Now how do you get The Crux of Crota?

It's assumed you get it from beating Crota on Hard Mode. Hope it's not a random drop in his loot table.

Looks like I'll be getting up early on Tuesday and doing the last of my solo runs through Crota. I'll probably go ahead and knock out all 3 raids before they patch it if possible. They seem to push updates around 1 or 2 in the afternoon giving us some time. I pretty much have plenty of radiant materials and I'll be rank 4 on Eris in a day or two, so missing the new radiant chest isn't a huge deal to me.

It may be a combination of things, ranking up to 4 on Eris and beating Crota on Hard Mode.....
It could be by drop in the raid....In a chest?
We will find out, hopefully sooner than later.

My Warlock is almost a rank 3 and my Hunter is about halfway to being rank 4 on Eris......

Word of warning to anyone playing this game on a plasma TV, the HUD display WILL leave a permanent image burned into your set! I have a Panasonic VT60 plasma and I now have a permanent image of the HUD in the lower left corner of my panel! I emailed Bungie telling them of this and that they need to patch in an opacity adjustment setting option to avoid this. Either that or give us the option to remove the HUD altogether. I honestly don't understand why all video games don't have this option nowadays anyway.

I have not played Destiny in over a month because I didn't want it to get any worse. The image has faded some since I stopped playing it but it's not gone completely and I don't know if it ever will. I am beyond pissed about this. I don't feel that Bungie is liable for my set but I do think they should take some responsibility in making sure other plasma owners don't suffer the same issue I have. I will not play this game again until they patch in a solution.

Finally got my 3rd character leveled up. I shouldn't say finally, took two days to get to level 27 but it'll be nice be nice to run everything three times.

First VoG run? Chatterwhite. lol.

Actually I've found that using a snow channel is more effective than a screen wipe. It stimulates the pixels much more and will erase image retention much much faster.

To be honest, if I thought about it at the time I would have ran the screen wipe or snow channel after every session with Destiny but it never crossed my mind.

The HUD image has faded quite a bit since I first noticed it and stopped playing. I've talked some others who suffered the same problem and they assured me the image will disappear eventually but it just takes time. I'm still not touching this damn game again until Bungie either gives us the option to ghost the HUD or remove it completely.

Oh and just an FYI, plasmas aren't the only panels that can get image retention. There are plenty of cases with LCD and LED panels that have gotten it as well.

Using the lamps to launch yourself is old news. Wonder if this week's update will remove the simple jump to complete...I doubt it.

At this point, I'm thinking I'll be on about 8:15 to do everything before the patch. If the patch actually drops before that, no biggie.
