So she doesn’t plan to grow in her career?I think she is loving what AOC is bringing to the table.
AOC is not advocating a 70% tax on 100K. My daughter's taxes would go down under AOC.
all words, no action.
instead he cuts the government out and goes direct via charity
actions speak volumes
Seems he (like you) should put his money where his mouth is and set an example for us. You know, exercise your moral compass without being legally compelled.
I think Gates is pretty proud of the example he sets. As am I.all words, no action.

How about at the end of the year, I get a tax bill. I write a check and then check a box(s) on where I want the money to go?Do you think more people would pay more if they had a direct say into where all of it went? As it stands, I think there is probably disagreements with ones moral code and certain government programs. Right now people are not compelled (legally anyway) to donate to church but still do because they agree morally on what it is used for.
I think there would be more example setting if the distrust and disagreement with government wasn’t there. Charities and churches are evidence of this.

YesWould you pay more than the bill if you could direct the payments where you want?
Or even better, if you had no bill and got to choose how much and where it went. Would you pay anything at all?
