Has nothing to do with my post. You talk about developing nfl talent. Dozens of other teams have sent more the last 5 seasons.
I’m fine with him staying. Just pointing out facts. If you want someone to let it go, stop stalkingHow many of these "dozens (plural so at least 24 teams) were staring at thestorm Tennessee was?
Good grief did Coach Garner take your parking spot at Food City once?
Let it go he's not going anywhere
Haven’t we sent Young, Pearce, OLN in the last 3 seasons? I’d like to see a list of the dozens of teams who have sent 3 DL pro in 3 years bc I’m fairly sure that list isn’t that longHow many of these "dozens (plural so at least 24 teams) were staring at thestorm Tennessee was?

I knew who Knowles was in early 2000s when he spent a year at ole Miss then at Duke. Didnt just google him last week. very happy with the hire. You can google Jim Knowles, he had a championship defense a couple years ago, and he’s pretty much gutting the entire staff except for Garner. It‘s a bad take on such a level it feels like a wind up.
Google can help you. Lists every DL pick in the draft year by year.
I have said multiple times I’m fine with Garner staying. You are the one who pulled that out of the left hemisphere of your ACL (anal crevice ligament) trying to get rid of a great position coach. I see you know what you said was incredibly stupid and you see now backtracking with the "oh just Google it" blah blah blah blah.
We got him nothing in the portal last year. But that was a mistake. Neither Moi nor Eason is a true NT that commands double teams. Hobbs is always hurt and he is a SDE playing a 3 tech DT. Then we played Bailey inside when Hobbs got hurt. Guys played out of position due to numbers. Garner needs bodies in the trenches for sure. He’s earned the right to survive one bad year IF there’s reason to think this was just one bad year. idk enough about it to have a opinion but i do know the DL, specifically the DTs, were terrible in 2025 and got worse as the season progressed. Not sure if it’s just youth or what but our DL was bad
Heupel is laid back so it’s hard for assistants to coach the details when they aren’t getting rode hard. Cignetti doesn’t accept excuses which is why they are where they are.We need some coaches that display some fire and can coach some motivation and passion into our play. But it comes down to there are no shortcuts, we have to get players that can and will compete in this league and we have to have coaches that won’t accept not putting in the work and effort it takes to achieve it. We have to practice how we want to play. You got to practice being physical if you want to be physical. You have to workout if you want to get bigger and stronger. Our defense is being dictated too. Our secondary cannot cover molasses and it’s pitiful and not acceptable no matter how that it evolved to this. This team is young but from this point forward that is not an excuse, this team has a very talented group of freshman and sophmores that are getting ready to be sophmore and juniors. It’s time to put on the work and that goes for all. The staff and players have to be motivated, good grief this place has everything a player should want a big fan base and great atmosphere. It has long time deserved a team and staff that was driven to win and won’t back down and cower when it’s time to play the big boys. Yes Mr Heupel it’s time to turn it around and build a consistent tireless relentless squad that fights and wins the tough battles. Not playing scared and trying to hang on. Not blowing big leads trying to salt the game away. Not being dictated too and playing like scared robots in the secondary. By coaching up the talent and putting the top talent on the field. As fans we can handle losing now and then, nobody wins them all. But we want teams that play to win not play not to lose. We have seen enough of that to last a lifetime. We want teams that play smart but play with fire and passion and expect to win and demand the best out of each other. We’re 5 years in and things have gotten better, but at this point we don’t need to see any further downturn. Recruiting has soared the last 2 years even better and we were light on seniors this past year. But it’s time for leaders to emerge and for priorities to demand championship contending results. No more excuses, we need to see results and we need to see a sense of general urgency with everyone inside and around the program. GBO
And I read where the players went to CJK and requested that he keep Garner. He was years ago. Look at the number of players he sent to the nfl in the past, compared to the last few years. It’s easily accessible info.
I have a theory, and it’s just a theory, but being around pampered HS players the last decade plus, and handlers, NIL as well as the ability for players to just quit and go somewhere else when things are tough, and Garner is tough, I’m not sure his style hits with this new generation and all the things involved. Most of these kids nowadays can’t take old school coaching anymore. Akin to if Bobby Knight was coaching today. Kids would quit and go somewhere else.
Like I said, a theory, but one I’ve discussed with others who not only have kids as recruits or playing college, but themselves played in college and nfl.
I just glanced over the list, it’s 100% nowhere near dozens of schools. It’s a hand full of the ones you’d expect. You are the one who pulled that out of the left hemisphere of your ACL (anal crevice ligament) trying to get rid of a great position coach. I see you know what you said was incredibly stupid and you see now backtracking with the "oh just Google it" blah blah blah blah.
I know Robinson did for sure. We had a couple hit the portal but they were likely not going to play. We don’t have that many returning so will need the EEs to get in the weight room and get immediate help in portal. 22 year olds are just stronger than 18-19 yr oldsAnd I read where the players went to CJK and requested that he keep Garner.

I questioned their play, as anybody with a pulse could see as we got shoved around.
He’s been here 5 seasons and had 2 DTs taken, Butler and Omar Lott. I expect more. In his heydey he sent a lot more.
I’m not getting caught up with another clown tonight and getting a warning.
What I said was not incredibly stupid. I’m not doing your work for you. Stop being intolerant and lazy.
Good. Continue to and I’ll keep backing it up.I just glanced over the list, it’s 100% nowhere near dozens of schools. It’s a hand full of the ones you’d expect.
Also, I forgot about Matthew Butler who played here for RG and got drafted round 5, still on Dolphins.
Sorry but if you’re gonna go after the best coach on the staff you’re gonna get called out lol.

sorry. Try to stick with ball talk. I hope part of the issue was Banks scheme asking Gardner to have his DTs absorb blocks and Knowles asks him to have them reek havoc. Could very well be a reason why we have been weaker there than you used to see out of Gardners DTsThis thread has turned into two keyboard warriors bi..hfest yall swap phone numbers and spare us the grief
I was here 15ish years ago but busy with kids and sports and coaching. Yall need to settle down a little.I should have looked earlier @Skooter joined the site on April 8 this year, right about the time Nico decided to take his pajamas to Pasadena. It's obvious this poster is another troll
