Good gracious man I’m flattered of the stalking. I just told you I took a break. Now I’m remembering a reason why lol. Wife also had cancer and son. You gonna say something about that too?

No my mother passed (cancer) and not long after that my 19 month old first cousins baby lost his battle with leukemia. That doesn't make me special but it does give me perspective. Perspective is a weird thing. You don't know when you acquire it but once you do you know you have it. I would never compare an assertion so petty as someone's loyalty to a football team to something like cancer. But you do you.

Sounds like there is still one potential hire possible around LB coach. Will get yes or no today, and that decision will decide if Inge stays on or at least if he stays on in his current role.

Not an insider to UT at all but do have good connection to OK State and somewhat to OU as well. I grew up in Guthrie, Oklahoma and later moved to Mustang, OK. A very good friend of mine owns a audio/video equipment & software company primarily involved in 2 industries, one which happens to be college & pro sports. He is an OK State alum, pretty darn rich, and got along well with Knowles. Info I have received is coming from a couple individuals connected to Knowles, one who will potentially join UT in analyst role and has been with Knowles at most every stop over the last 10 years. If that happens I may gave good info moving forward if not then most my info will dry up moving forward.

I personally attended OU and am a Sonner fan. My daughter graduated HD 1 year early & just completed her 1st semester at UT. I attended my first game in Neyland this year (vs Eastern Tenn). Ironically my HS teammate & friend was the center on the OU 2000 National Championship team. He still keeps in touch with CJH and are friends but they aren't very close. It was crazy to be at games cheering on CJH as a player and then to attend 1st game with daughter with him as the head coach.

If I remember correctly, Heupel had a hard time hiring a DC. He was trying to recruit and get his staff together and was getting turned down by DC candidates. Before he hired Banks, he retained Garner then brought Willie with him. While Banks was somewhat successful, he was not Heupel's 1st choice. Other programs have not adopted Heupel fast paced offense and other have adapted to it. Heupel is smart in not getting a great DC and turning the defense over to him. The only way to hold Knowles accountable is allow him to select his staff and therefore his players. This should also allow Heupel to concentrate more of his time on the offensive side while still being the CEO of the program.
