Dear Donald

Luther, a couple of helpful hints... You're not as smooth and smart as you think you are, and most people on this forum aren't as dumb as you think we are.

You made a claim that has been shown historically and patently false. Blaming it on Trump does not somehow mean that Obama improved race relations. Trying to subtly make your claims immeasurable does not mean that Obama improved race relations. Claiming that changes cause "short-term conflicts" (short term apparently meaning 8 years/two terms) actually accidentally invalidated your claims.

Please, in the future, start having these debates and discussions in an intellectually honest way, as opposed to thinking that you're smart enough--and we're dumb enough--that you can keep moving goal posts in an effort to escape the reality that you're wrong.

Spare me.

We all make assumptions....I'm generally pretty comfortable with mine. Now yours on the other hand...

Yes. You're pretty comfortable with them until they're exposed. Then you have to start slithering.

It's kind of gross, actually. Like an earthworm that got its head cut off and just sort of starts knotting up and secreting slime.

Ugh.

As of Aug 6, 2015, whites and blacks both had the poorest view of race relations of the previous 15 years.

Americans' Views of Black-White Relations Deteriorate | Gallup

In July 2015, NYTimes reported that, after an initial bump for us electing a black president, views on race relations by both whites and blacks deteriorated by 2015.

July 23, 2015, CBS reported the same thing, adding that blacks are more likely than whites to report a deteriorating view of race relations in Obama's presidency.

Shall we keep going, LexLuther?

I'm not disagreeing with but I think one of the biggest reasons for this was the media coverage of white cops killing black men.

It seemed like for a while we didn't go 1 or 2 weeks without having an incident like this. I know this isn't the only issue but I think it played a big role.

I agree, you get stations like CNN putting out fake narratives about things like Ferguson. Hands up don't shoot or I can't breathe.
