DeAndre Johnson transferring (rumor) [confirmed]

Barron and Joseph were true freshman with limited snaps. Harrison on the other hand isn't recording a lot, but he is showing up in the run game clogging lanes...however you'd expect a 235 lbs guy that runs 4.6 and benches 500 lbs to have more stats...2 sacks all year..he needs better coaching. All of them do.
I totally get it these young guys should have taken snaps, but didn’t. That’s a concern since we need pass rushers.

The early signing day reduces the damage to recruiting.
Transfer Portal and one time transfer rule will make signing day, early or late, meaningless. If Tennessee was going to make a change it would have probably happened before early signing day, that’s the new strategy. That is why Candy, Auburn, and USCjr moved so quick, and this year it was a mistake.

Have we ever had this many players leave or decommit in one season? How in holy heck are our power boosters okay with this? This is well past the train being off the tracks; it's already gone off the cliff and is about to hit the canyon floor and burst into flames, and they've all got their thumbs up their butts like nothing is happening.

BOYCOTT. It's the only thing that will get these a-holes' attention.

I don’t remember hearing aubbie, vandy and usce lose a bunch of recruits on signing day. Might have happened but I didn’t see any articles about it and I’m thinking it would have been covered. How is it a mistake if there was no exodus of committed recruits that didn’t sign?

Sure hope so........I'm hoping that Fulmer gave Freeze the courtesy of waiting till after their bowl game on Saturday and allowing him a day (Sunday) to talk and get with his family.........now its finish up the fine print and make moves day. I still say the silence is deafening.
Something may happen, but how can anyone still think Freeze is coming here. Not happening.

Bye! We just saved 3 penalties a game with him transferring...2 offsides and a personal foul.
Seriously. I was rooting for him the whole season being a Miami guy but holy hell.. He single-handedly ruined how many games this year with his personal foul penalties against the quarterback?

They all should transfer, I wouldn't blame them one bit. They won't be developed here. Then Fulmer and Pruitt would be responsible for the self imposement of of the death penalty at Tennessee.

I'm not sold that it's happening, but, in a case where it was, maybe the announcement would be held until the new head coach had time to line up his staff (and get them "approved").

There are not good transfers. That position has not been recruited very well.

Not big loss. They have not been able to land elite guys because uga, bama, lsu,uf, and arguably au recruited the same edge rushers and we are the worse team on the list. Your not getting the elite guys over those teams who are mostly winning big.

Between the opt-outs, social justice crap, and now the players being able to profit off of their name / likeness, the FBS is turning into a mini-NFL. It’s probably time for me to find an FCS team to follow.

At least they have an actual playoff to determine their national champion.
I’ve got an FCS team here in town, and believe it or not, the issues are the same. The only difference is that I know half the people in the stadium and the lines at the concession stands are easier.

A few weeks back in a presser Pruitt was asked about the players that could return due to the Covid rule would be allowed to return? Pruitt said, anyone that wants to come back will be allowed to do so....Might have changed since then but that's what he said at the time.
Absolutely they will be allowed to come back. There just may not be a scholarship for them.
