the bad thing is there are too many ultra popular outfielders who will garner more votes. hell, look at last year they about snubbed the mvp from the allstar game and he barely sniffed the field at that. i have lost a lot of respect for the allstar game in the last decade. but you right. at this point votto, stubbs, bp, and if bruce brings up the batting average should all be worthy and that is just position guys. we could very well have a few pitchers who would be very deserving in a month or two.

let me just say i would be excited with a reds heavy allstar team, but i am bias.

you have some pretty good young talent in the lineup though. But I hear ownership is getting cheap, so I am not sure what to make of the future for the Cubs

They'll figure out some way to lose it all. Our ownership is getting cheap, is always been cheap.

Right now we have a manager in way over his head and a lazy LF who isn't worth anywhere near what he's getting paid taking away ABs from said younger players.
