Da Reds thread

They need to send Marte down we have too many outfielders producing at Louisville not to make a move.
Marte needs to go down to play everyday and work things out. We see what happens when there is a legit bat waiting to move up like with Sal. Give somebody else a shot to prove themselves. The org has traditionally been too slow bringing the talent up to keep the arb clock from ticking. You can't win consistently with that method IMO. A hot bat can help carry a team when the regulars are slumping a bit.

That is good news and the truth anyway. Good correction.

After all of the bad luck starts to seasons, this has been encouraging. We are seeing the benefit of having Tito big time this time around.

More consistent offensive production would help even more.

Tito frustrates me sometimes but the guys seem to love playing for him and are actually winning. That’s more than David Bell could do.

For sure sign Sal. I don't worry about him getting complacent. Give him generational wealth right now. We blew about a hundred million total on Shogo, Moustakas and Candelario
I agree. They need to lock in on productive guys who want to be lifers in the org. It's the best way for small market teams to take advantage of their farm systems. Sal is worthy to be face of the org for a decade. They need a few more who earn it to build a core for winning.

Now bring up Rodríguez and play guys who can hit the ball. Enough with the sub Mendoza line crap.

Only guy I’m ok with playing everyday hitting like he does is Hayes because of his defense but it’s a struggle to mask that when only 2 or 3 guys are hitting in the rest of the lineup.
