Chicken salat on the menu tonight.

On crackers, stuffed in a mater, on a bagel, on a hoagie roll, on biscuits, with corn tortilla chips, in a wrap, on a croissant, in an iceberg lettuce salad.....what???? Stop teasing me. Inquiring mines wanna no.

Lettuce salat with cottage cheese on daside.

How do you know if you didn't pay attention?
Lots going on...took a bite....never again HA
Edit: went to a potluck once....somebody had brought tossed salad...someone else brought strawberries....that person just dumped the strawberries into the tossed salad and tossed it some more....that was weird to me, too

When I make chicken salad or tuna salad, I always use a tad of lemon juice, too. But yeah definitely some onion.

I like onion, celery, boiled egg and capers in my tuna salad. I use Lawry's in salads like that. I've never had Badia's all season. I use their granulated garlic.
I’ve never thought about using capers, makes sense and will try that. I have catering groups that want grapes, walnuts or pecans, and apple. I thought it took away from the actual chicken salad, but they’re the paying customer.

I'm not a huge fan, but I've grown to like walnut and red grapes for texture and presentation. Its actually just a variation of a Waldorf but without the apple its kinda cheesy to call it that. Add a little Wishbone Italian dressing, it'll help bring all the flavors together a little so nothing "takes away" from anything else and add a bit of a zing too.

Huh, Italian dressing? Really? do you add the capers also?

So I’ve made Italian herb chicken tenders, serving them in a salad of Romaine and green lettuce, spinach, carrots, cucumber, celery and A little bell pepper. Will pair with Caesar dressing and Parmesan cheese.
is there something wrong with this set up?
