Very, very preliminary report on the Instant Pot Duo Crisp Air Fryer thingy, which is the size of a half-grown German shepherd and nearly as awkward. You have one? I think @Boca Vol does too. @VolNExile has the Insta I think.

I've watched several reviews and most are by people who have had the ninja for a while.Very, very preliminary report on the Instant Pot Duo Crisp Air Fryer thingy, which is the size of a half-grown German shepherd and nearly as awkward.
Remember, I’ve never used an air fryer before, so there’s that.
So far, I’ve done a split turkey breast, a chicken, and empanadas.
Things seem to be done about a minute or so sooner than standard air fryer recipes call for. Since I have no real world experience, I don’t have a feel for how it compares to regular air fryers. Sometimes combo small appliances are great, sometimes they’re kinda awful x2. I did break a personal rule of never being a beta user. I would really like to see some recipes appear specifically for this critter.
The empanadas were awful, but that might have been the Goya discos. I bought some phyllo type pastry today, and I’m going to give it a whack.
I would say that if you already have an Instant Pot and an air fryer, and you’re happy with both, I don’t see the point in getting this. But maybe if you have neither (like me), it makes sense. Sure would like to see more support from Instant Pot - recipes, recommended accessories, etc. it really was rushed to market in terms of product support. (Seems fine mechanically.) I’m sure that third party support will rush in during the next three months.
Still too scared of the actual Instant Pot and any homicidal tendencies, but I’m trying quinoa tomorrow. If I never post back, you’ll know what happened...
