Saw a teammate in college get hit in the face with a comebacker that fractured multiple bones, including knocking his eye out of socket. Nastiest thing I ever witnessed playing any form of sports. Including my compound fractured leg.

Worked at a doctor's office, internal medicine. Was in the lab talking to one of the lab techs when the mail was delivered. Patients were give hemoccult cards to take home with them (tests for blood in the stool). To use it, you take a testing strip and barely touch the stool sample, then touch the card in three places. The card gets sealed and is safe to mail back to the doctor's office where a chemical is applied and shows if there is any trace of blood. The package they mail back is flat....normally. One elderly patient used the paper inside the kit (which floats in the toilet so you have time to get your sample on the test strip) to wrap up a "sample". Maybe it wasn't the craziest thing I've ever seen, but definitely one of the funniest when the lab tech realized why the package was so, um, bulky. haha

I was driving to work one morning on I-95, roughly around 4:30-4:45am and I saw a Trail Blazer or Explorer that was 3/4 of the way under a tractor trailer. It looked like the tractor trailer was pulled over and the vehicle just hit it from behind. I didn't see any skid marks from him hitting the brakes either.

Yes sir. I saw him hop out of a car and limp across the road and up the hill towards mcdonalds. I saw a man and woman in the car. I drove to the gas station to turn around and went to mcdonalds. He was on the ground. I called 911 and waited there for the police and ambulance to arrive. I told the officer what kind of car I saw him jump out of. about 20 mins someone told the officer they found the man and woman at the Krystal restaurant about 10 minutes away from where we were. Really? stupid criminals. I did two good deeds that morning. Call 911 and able to give a description of the car.

well three good deeds- I also gave him my expensive north face jacket to stop the bleeding.

The loss of North Face products is always always always a GREAT thing.

Looked out my drivers side window while driving from Woodbury to Murfreesboro and saw an Emu running down the side of the highway. It was weird.

First Dooley, and now an Emu - does anybody or anything want to be in The 'Boro, given a chance to avoid or escape it?

Given the choice, I'd prefer Murfreesboro over Woodbury all day every day. Obviously the Emu felt the same.

Went to Mardi Gras several times; most disturbing was 1994; got too far off Bourbon Street; saw two guys wearing chaps and going at it; needless to say, I made a hasty retreat to Bourbon Street and Pat O'Briens.

My work husband saw an armadillo the other day. First time I've ever heard of an armadillo in Tennessee.
