Frat-tastic
The Ballasts look almost weightless but are only available (to the the best of my knowledge) as 400's.
Which lens option (tint) did you go with? (VF14 also) From what their site describes (and what I already have in other sgs) I'm leaning green mirror for a possible future purchase.
I bought a pair of Costa Del Mar sunglasses that have three interchangeable lens for my fishing. Grey for sunny days, Tan for cloudy days and Amber green for those in between days. They cost me about 140 bucks. They're worth it, especially in clear water.
Seriously, though. If you're worried about losing expensive sunglasses, just put croakies on them. Hang them from your rear-view mirror. When you get in the car, put them on. When you get out of your car at your destination, you can either hang them back up or leave them on, then just let 'em dangle. You won't lose them because they're always on your person or in a specific spot
Anybody own them? What would be your review on them? Are they worth the $180?
And I do alot of bass fishing, and I know their supposed to be good for fishing.:hi:
Looked on my box and they're the 400 series. They've been durable and the best part is the 3 sets of lenses.I don't know if it was the same ones or not but I had some Costas they called the Fluid that came with three interchangeable lenses; gray, amber and vermillion. I liked them...til they were stolen. They only got the frames while the amber lenses were in and I ended up going Frankenstein and filing down the other lenses to fit into an old pair of Oakley E-Wires. Those were my "beater" sunglasses for several years.
