Congratulations CBJ. You've made it.

I find it funny some top line media outlet and say we are the joke of college football. I've never even heard of this guy who wrote this!!! Some will dig to find anything!! Enjoy the game tomorrow!!!! GBO

I don't know what's worse, the fact that our coach is becoming a punchline nationally or the fact that so many of our fans seem to be enjoying it.

Wrong. I assure you not many fans are enjoying this. In my over 30 years of being a Vol fan, this is the longest I have stayed MAD over a loss. I think I am most upset with Butch's coaching acumen or lack thereof.

Les Miles?

Yeah, that's the only name I could think of as well, but Les Miles was never written off as a guy who couldn't win games. At least not by any number of significant writers. He only lost 2 games in each of his first 3 years, so it's not like they would have really had the opportunity to anyway.

Since you can't handle others opinions, with out giving the STFU, you probably need to stay off message boards.

Yes STFU. Of course that means Stand Tall For our University. Or was it Stay Tuned Fun Unveiled. Or is it Some Tennessee Fans Understand. Yeah, let's go with that one! What? Is that what that really means? Well that's just rude.
VFL still means Vol For Life, doesn't it? What about GBO? So if a coach makes some small errors magnified by the mistakes of others and the other team - also a historic power with good talent-getting another chance is a Butch, what is rebuilding a broken talent bereft historic program with stellar recruiting and having a great 50 minute game plan called? Also a Butch? Cause the first thing can be fixed, the latter typically takes 5 years or longer by the best coaches. Hang in there Butch. Just win, baby.

Thank you.

Say it loud and proud, on a message board. Funny how people muster the courage to say something on a forum that they would never have said in person.

Not really. Some people have an ability to tell the shellshocked to either get over it, stfu, or move along. Doesn't bother me whether I type it or say it, or to whom. Justifiable critique of our coach is warranted, not incessant whining. What camp you in?

You all remember that Al Golden was one of those mentioned for the UT job after Dooley got fired. He said he was not interested in leaving the U.

Thing is, if it was Butch Jones and he went for three, everybody on here would be baggin on him for not going for the TD that close.

Will a big win over Arkansas take the spotlight off Jones coaching failures, it certainally can't hurt, no?

In today's world he could change from an idiot to a genius in one day. He will have multiple chances to right the ship this season.

This is true and let's all hope he does or we are stuck with a coach famous for being an in coaching idiot!

Maybe a little but his reputation is not going to change unless we start pulling out some of these close games against good teams without making questionable decisions!
