Congratulations CBJ. You've made it.

Does this qualify for bulletin board material? Hang it in the coach's offices. This is brutal, but if the team steps up and plays for their coach, it may be a turning point. Hopefully, the coaching doesn't get in the way.

I don't know what's worse, the fact that our coach is becoming a punchline nationally or the fact that so many of our fans seem to be enjoying it.

IDT anybody associated with UT is enjoying it. But it's difficult to disagree with much of what they're saying. The tone might be snarky, but there's truth there. CBJ talking in cliches is just making it worse.

Really? Out of curiosity, who did this? On a national scale, I mean. Not like just on a messageboard or in the mind of a theoretical fan, but who ("in today's world", so recently) was mocked by writers across the country for his coaching blunders and then was later hailed as a genius by those writers?

I'm just honestly curious, because I can't think of a good example.

Les Miles?

Clutch Jones or whatever you want to call him he's our coach and the fans jumping on him just fuels the medias fire that much more. Changing coaches anytime soon is just going to keep us in the sh***er that much longer. Who are they going to pay 6 million dollars a year to, to come coach us to the NC game immediately? Nobody that's who.

Ok I will start by saying when Butch hired Debord I was ok with it. But after only 4 games it was a big mistake. At least last year we did have a passing game. I haven't looked it up but we have to be close to last in passing in the nation. Good defenses like Oklahoma and Florida just stack the box and make us throw which this coaching staff cant figure out. A lot of you people want a new coach. But who is out there that you would like to be the next head coach out our Vols. Leave Jon Gruden out of it. You know Hart and Cheek will not let him have that much control.

So much *****ing and crying...suck it up, Butch is our coach. Watch or don't watch, but your *****ing and sniping just makes our fanbase look like idiots.

And making posts telling people how they should act on a message board makes you look like an idiot. Suck it up. This is a place for opinions. Dont click on a thread just to say nonsense like this.

Good grief. Ok changing coaches this season would be very bad. However when the season is over it would not be that disasterous as you think. Butch has stocked the roster with talent. So a good coach should be able to come right in and do fine. I dont think anyone would realistically think a new coach would lead us to a NC immediately. However I do think a good coach could come in and win 9-10 games with this roster.

There is a chance Butch can redeem himself but its going to take a lot. Personally, I think he may be too set in his ways to make the necessary changes to be successful in the SEC. I would love to be proven wrong though. We shall see.

There is not a chance in Tuscaloosa that Butch Jones will be fired this year, regardless of the record. It is NOT going to happen. Simmer down now.

If UT wins tomorrow - no matter how the calls are made, most of you slurpers will run and hide until the next loss. I say most simply because a few will hang around to piss & moan about something else that CBJ did. CBJ has done more good for the program than he has bad. STFU.

Since you can't handle others opinions, with out giving the STFU, you probably need to stay off message boards.

Say it loud and proud, on a message board. Funny how people muster the courage to say something on a forum that they would never have said in person.

Well i guess as long as the new coaches are going to stick with the same basic schemes then maybe. But we all know what happens when they try changing the schemes up completey for example trying to run a 3-4 defense with guys that were recruited for a 4-3. It will be ugly for at least 2 or 3 more years..
