Coaching Rumors/ Openings Thread

Hearing the top two guys for Cincinnati are Jerrod Calhoun and Travis Steele
Would be something if the former coach at Xavier went to Cincinnati. Not quite a Rick Pitino going to Louisville, but I imagine the Musketeer die-hards would be livid.

Cronin has been wanting to get out of LA for some time. He could be a viable candidate if they're willing to consider bringing him back.

Alexander over Schwartz. Casey has been a head coach at 3 programs (Stetson, Lipscomb, Belmont) for 15 seasons and is 303-180. Schwartz still unproven as a head coach in my opinion.
I assume you misread Schertz (as in Josh, at St. Louis) for Schwartz (as in Michael, former Barnes assistant).

Josh Schertz is 450-128 at three programs (LMU, Indiana St., and St. Louis). He's pretty proven. At least as much as Alexander.

Yes, I assumed it was Michael Schwartz from ECU that assisted Barnes at UT.

Tennessee Tech hired Tobin Anderson, for those who don't remember he was the head coach at Fairleigh Dickinson when they became the second 16 seed to upset a one seed when they beat Purdue.

Call me crazy, but I think we'll put together a strong ass offer for TJ Otz at Iowa State once Barnes hangs it up (not saying he'd accept, but I think we'll make him say no). Iowa State isn't in a great spot right now from an AD and NIL perspective
