i'm not big on fulmer either, but today, i think if he's not the guy standing at that podium....we're just done.

This is the crux of the problem, and why it is more like a true civil war. Nobody knows which side anyone is really on.

I'm not suggesting you are wrong. I don't know. Just pointing out on another thread I saw the exact opposite where Fulmer was anti-Haslam and Currie was Haslam's boy.

I suspect which side of the line a person thinks Fulmer falls on directly correlates with whether or not that person is a Fulmer supporter.

I agree. If it's Fulmer, the Anti-Haslam faction has won. If not, the HoH has either reasserted control or an uneasy truce has settled in.

Either way, if it's not Fulmer, I worry about our future. Not so much in that I believe he is the Be all end all, but just from an indication of what's happening.

I find it funny that now some are thinking he’s the hero, and downing Fulmer and Peyton. I think we’re just so screwed up, we blame anybody.

Agree. But I'm trying not to read too much into it being Sigmon if he is technically the next in line. If he isn't next in line and ends up at the podium then I think we have a problem.

one day, someone outside this program will want to know 'why' this happened. and when that day comes, we'll all feel a lot better.

for now, gonna have to just take it, perception wise, and just know this is for the best long term.

There both pro haslum. They were anti each other. Now fulmer got Currie out of his way he will do Haslums bidding just like Currie did. Difference is Currie knew the search was blown and better take who he could get that is all that was ever working in our favor. Phil will take a step back and find a candidate we hate.

Why does nobody get this. Fulmer is not a Haslam ally.

He is a Thornton and Anderson guy. Always has been.

That's why Haslam run him off.

Hire Kiffin who leaves in the middle of the night.
In comes Dooley after everyone refuses the job.
Hamilton out, Hart In.
Butch Jones hired because he was cheap and profits are more important than winning.
Hart retires-HOH leads AD Search and brings back Currie.
Currie finally fires Jones after worst season in UT History.
Super Booster group tired of HOH – MOU signed with Gruden.
HOH and Currie try to sneak in Schiano (Haslam previously interviewed for Browns Job) to maintain control over UT Football.
MOU signed?
Fans ReVOLt against Currie & 10 years of mediocrity!!
HOH and Currie panic and try to hire someone quickly while Super Boosters try to unite and push HOH out of favor with President and Chancellor.
HOH uses UT’s favorite son, Manning (Possibly the next GM for the Browns) to get Jeff Brohm so HOH remains in power.
Chancellor Davenport refuses to pay buyout.
HOH goes for lost cause in Gundy- use Manning for sales pitch.

Fans beg for Tee Martin interview – No contact made, perhaps already agreed to be the Grude’s OC.
Schiano possibly suing UT!
Currie goes rogue and agrees to hire Leach with or without Chancellor Davenport’s permission. HOH goes crazy!
Fulmer stages a coup and gets revenge from 10 years ago.
Currie Fired!!
HOH Decapitated!
Fulmer In!
