I’m so sad to come on here and find people actually defending the actions of those “fans” that threw crap. I’m as big a fan as any of you, I have a Tennessee room in my house, go to games, wear the apparel, and have a degree hanging on my wall from the school, and I think we should be fined a couple hundred thousand dollars and the people who engaged in that behavior should be banned from the stadium. I live in Kentucky and always talk about how stupid UK fans are…I can’t say **** to them anymore. This was an embarrassment.

I really hope nobody would stoop to that level honestly, but it does seem a little suspect at times. There should be a new rule, if you go down with an injury, u can’t return to the game until the next series. That might help stop or slow the injury faking down some. Just an idea.

Actually I finally figured out what happened and the SEC owes us an apology. The fans were not throwing water bottles because they were angry. They were merely being good samaratins trying to HELP the Ole Miss players with an obvious hydration problem. Their poor players were so starved for water that they were cramping on every play. Our kind hearted fans finally just couldn’t take it anymore and just had to do something about Kiffin’s obvious disregard for his players’ well being.

I don't think it was justified, especially when you consider a lot of our own people were getting hit. Our cheerleaders were being hit with trash, and I think some band members got hit. Also, golf balls can injure people, so that DEFINITELY wasn't justified. I've seen reports of glass bottles and other dangerous crap being thrown as well. People throwing glass should be arrested. I don't know if it's true, though. A lot of nonsense clickbait going around.

Absolutely absurd.
Referees? Coaches, players, media, recruits, police officers……who is acceptable to be injured because you were mad? What if your daughter was on the sidelines as a cheerleader and was injured because some booger eating mouth breather didn’t like a penalty call and felt he had a ‘right’ to show his displeasure? What if your son was a player and was pelted by debris? What if a big time recruit considering this program would have been injured? Would send a chilling message to all other recruits. All because your pissed and not going to take it anymore!?
