UK was probably his best game. He threw the ba well for the most part that game. He still took too many negative plays, though. Had a really bad intentional grounding. Ran out of bounds for a 4 yard loss when he shouldve thrown the ball away at one point too.
Still though, accuracy wasnt JGs issue last year. Hes got a better arm than Chryst and McBride. What he absolutely has to improve on if he wants to be the starter is getting rid of the ball more quickly, pocket presence, knowing when to throw the ball away vs when to run, etc. It still remains to be seen if hell be able to improve all of that. But if he does, hell beat Chryst. If he doesnt, Chryst will be the guy. His arm isnt the best, but he knows how to manage a game and wont kill drives by taking unnecessary sacks or not throwing the ball away at least.
His accuracy was ok for someone who attempted about 75% less passes than every other SEC QB. But you know what? You can complete 100% of your passes all day everyday but unless they are going for touchdowns that stat means nothing.
