Chris Low thinks Florida may have mailed it in

It spreads all over the media so yes it does. The Florida comments are not just limited to VolNation and you known it. It plays a part. Take 2022 LSU for example, we had no mental block with them and that was why we won big in Baton Rouge. Heck we won easier against them than Florida even though LSU was a lot better team than Florida. It has an effect, how else do you explain Tennessee's performance against Florida?
also there were people on this board in 2022 that were saying the same thing about going to LSU and Oklahoma last year so you are wrong yet again

The crowd should not be into it nearly as much now that they have clinched a losing record. That loss last night took a lot out of them. Nothing to play for now for them. No excuse to not win this game for Vols.
There wasn’t much excuse to lose to UGA or OU, either. FLA not as good as those two, but played UGA and Ole Miss tough. They always get up for us, especially down there. Expect it to be close, but we are so mistake prone and undisciplined to the point where it’s hard for us to recover. Couldn’t seem to get out of our own way when it counted in our three losses.

UF hasn't mailed anything in. They are going to full of piss and vinegar when the VOLS come to town on Saturday. We will be lucky to escape with a Win.
I think the difference in mailing it in has changed with NIL. Players are not playing for Florida , a lot are auditioning for a gig and as much money as they can get so they will play their heart out for themselves not the jersey on their back and who will notice. There are scouts everywhere looking at disgruntled players it is another bad part of the new college football but I still watch, not sure when that will change.

I assure you that they will absolutely be into it. A rivalry game at night and in the swamp. They will be loud as ever and no way has Fla packed it in. I'm honestly worried about the game getting sideways quick and taking a beat down that we tend to get down there

Their fans are weak. Would be totally in character for them to check out. They’ve done it before in seasons that weren’t this bad.

I think playing at home is honestly to their detriment at this point. You're playing in front of an apathetic, maybe borderline angry, crowd. First sign of cracks will be enough for them to actually mail it in. This is actually their first home game since Napier has been gone.

Still not an easy game by any means.

Bad coaching at times, being out talented at times, it's a tough place to play and some bad luck

It happens to every program at some point of their existence, was ohio state a "trash program" for getting owned by Michigan for so many years? is UGA a "trash program" for being owned by Bama, how about when UT owned them for a decade? of course not.

and then your statements about the fans and social media mean NOTHING, no one cares about that on the team
