Chris Kyle: American hero or

I do believe it, I don't think too many heroes have ever existed. That said, momentary heroic action does not make a hero.

I've stopped and changed tires for stranded motorists before. I've comped a dude's tab when he couldn't pay for a couple of things. I've held folks' hair back while they spewed chunks.

Sporadic acts of selfless good will makes not a hero.

Only if you can't accept the amount of sheer objectivity he presents. I thoroughly enjoy his posts, whether or not I agree with them.

I've never seen a poster so devoid of emotional influence. It's what this forum needs. Hell, it's what most open discourse needs.

he's TRUT is very articulate, and I too enjoy his post, but I've realized he (IMO), he enjoys the debate and takes an extreme view, and enjoys defending it

Too many? So......there have been some?

If Jesus is actually a historical figure, I'd consider him a hero. I think Francis of Assissi is a hero. And, I might count Martin Luther King, Jr. as a hero, depending on whether or not his womanizing only involved consensual sex and not abuses of power.

I did what my country trained me to do and that makes me no hero. If you spill your blood in a foreign country, for my country, you are MY hero. God Bless the USA! Thank god you were born in this great country or who/whatever you believe in.
