The ONLY way that buTch would get fired is if the huge money boosters agreed to put up the many millions of $$$ if will take to buyout the contract that buTch and staff have now AND if they agreed to put up many Millions of $$$ more to throw serious money at a well known, experienced, winning coach that's also proven to be a great recruiter.

College is ALL about great recruiting every year to keep the player roster full of top players at every position and there's NOT many coaches that can bring in top 10 recruiting classes every year consistently enough to stay a top SEC team unfortunately.

Our best bet now is that buTch and staff can get it all together and WIN most of our games this year and bring in another top recruiting class to keep building our player roster.

buTch will finish out his current contract because of a serious lack of money so we also better hope that Neyland keeps selling out every game to help with our AD money worries.

I have to keep remembering that we are only 2 good D plays away from being undefeated and 4-0 right now.

We are a much better footVol team already than we've been in many years and I can only hope that buTch and staff will get it all together fast.

With all due respect, this kind of reporting is pure horse pucky, the kind of stuff that sells National Enquirer and Star, now infecting sports writing hopefully to be swallowed by dopes. Sure, Jones had a couple of brainfarts last weekend, but when he recovers and gets the Vols to a bowl, this writer will be waiting in line to blow him next pre-season.

Evidently you don't like in the heart of Alabama...quite a few barners down here are calling malzahn an idiot....just like some on here are w/ CBJ. They are fed up with the HS play calling and lack of solid D. He'll get another year or two due to what happened year 1, but don't think AU fans are happy with what they are seeing either and if he continues to lose SEC games he'll be gone. They shoulda never run Tubs off.

About the only trouble I believe CBJ will have this year if he doesn't finish as well as last year...is that he may not get all of that Million Dollar bonus that he is on tap for.

If I'm wrong about that, somebody point it out to me.

Butch only has to do 1 thing to obtain the following:

Fans who will get your back no matter what
Fans who will sell out every game
Undying Loyalty
Never ending Job

If Butch wins on the field. He can stay at UT as the Head Coach until he dies. He just needs to win on the field. That's it. Nothing else. Just win games.
