Carolina Panthers

I probably scared the sh!t out of my downstairs neighbors on the game winner. It wasn't always pretty, but four 80-yard drives in Seattle? That's impressive. Hats off to Funchess too. Had three bad drops, but two crucial catches late. That should boost his confidence.

Kudos to the team for showing fight and resiliency. Also, we saw what a huge loss Luke was for that month he was out. He was all over the field, and was key in bottling up Lynch and Wilson all game.

that was awesome. but i did go on a pretty good rant after the double pass TD. there's a beer with a nice koozie on it in the woods behind my neighbors house.

which made the game winning drive that much sweeter. we were watching outside on his deck...when they won we were screaming, people came outside and started cheering, you could hear people in their houses screaming....it was awesome.

Are you still living in this area? I was definitely screaming loud enough after the winning TD, which got the dog to start howling!

I know this isn't happening, but here's a quote from a Grantland column today by Robert Mays.

"We should start a petition that forces the Ravens to release Steve Smith Sr. and prevent any team but the Panthers from signing him. Right now, Baltimore doesn’t deserve him. The 36-year-old Smith, playing with broken bones in his back, finished yesterday’s loss to the 49ers with seven catches for 137 yards, including an obscene 34-yard touchdown that shouldn’t be possible at this point in his career."

Damn, that would be nice. And a fitting end to a Hall of Fame career.

No way he would want to come back.
