Can we acknowledge a bad coaching hire may have been made?

The whole staff sucks. Maybe some are good individually but as a whole, it obviously ain't clicking.

Look, man, I’m not a super smart guy with years of experience hiring guys to coach the sports ball...but...I feel like hiring the following didn’t seem to work out:

A guy who got fired for going 5-15 and general lying/dishonesty

A guy that had a losing record in the WAC

A guy that got smoked on the field by the previously mentioned guy and swore a player fell on a helmet to account for his face injuries

A guy that has never been a head coach, at any level, and had a reputation for being a locker room cancer according to players that witnessed it. And by his second season couldn’t get the players to line up correctly resulting in multiple procedure penalties on single drives. I know high schools that know how to line up

That’s all I’m saying.
You forgot the part where they took the guy that they fired to necessitate the first coaching search and put him in charge of the 4th coaching search. You can't make this stuff up.

Oh, yes. Of course. At some point I assume someone on the Hill will reveal this has all been part of a social experiment to see how we would react.

I have a saying at work I teach all the new guys. “Just assume worst case scenario. And most of the time you’ll be right and it will be ok because you were prepared for it. But in the rare circumstance that things go our way, it’s a happy little accident and you can feel good about it.”

I also take that approach to Tennessee sports.

I’ll take a different take on the same thing.

Someone needs to take a closer look at some of these assistants.

Weinke and Tee for starters

Isn’t it the job of the head coach to take a look at the assistants? Ckawfense was the end of Fuller.

I prefer to see some accountability instead of a two year extension.
Amen to that. I actually hate the whole multi year contract thing, Either your employed or not. Money has gotten out of control. I understand football brings in millions of revenue for the university but I have a hard time justifying $4M for a coach.

Florida will pick the score. I won't be shock if it's a 63 7 type of score. We are playing the worst I've seen us in 40 years of life. This is worse than Butch final season.
You are absolutely correct. You can’t even give the team credit for a should have won Auburn game cause the miscues is just how we play.

This will be the 4th bad hire in a row. The decision-making at the institutional level is broken.

Weinke and Tee may be bad but Friend is a whole new level of awful.
He has turned chicken salad into chicken shoo shoo.
Why not get rid of weinke move tee to QB coach and hire a wr coach?

You haven't enjoyed our Homeless Guy with a Sign Next to an Off Ramp method of finding coaches?
Will coach your football program into the ground for a hot meal or at least some of Barb's famous chip dip
Oh, and several million dollars

Why stop with those 2? I’ve seen nothing from the whole staff, since they were chilling in their pj’s, zoom calling recruits, back in the spring.
GBO!!

You're not wrong. Neither have a done a good job, although I would definitely fire Weinke and Friend first. Tee would be next. The humorous part is that there is a substantial percentage of Volnation posters that are advocating to fire Pruitt and promote Tee to interim head coach.

Honestly, losing is not enough. That's why Vandy is different. That loss would be embarrassing because Vandy is winless.

So, if Florida were to win by a score of 52-10 or something like that, now it's not just the losing it's the complete embarrassment.

I don't think a loss of that magnitude is going to happen, but Kyle Pitts will be back.
52 is likely to be the number of points scored by Florida's offense. You appear to have forgotten to add in Florida's defensive points that JG will serve up on a silver platter.
