Cam Clear Arrested (merged)

...he "thinks" it's a second incident.

According to Deerpark, a parent decided to file charges recently after not being satisfied with the internal punishment.

Deerpark didn't say anything other than "when the parents got to town". How does that make it a second incident?

He didn't. I said that his story sounded likely. I posted something before that hoping it was something that deerpark ended up posting. I was just saying if he did all the right things and got the situation cleared up , only to go do it again... well that's just stupid. He would need to go. I'm hoping deerpark is right. I'd hate to see him get kicked off the team.

Apparently, a parent was not satisfied with the internal punishment, apologies, and agreement to make things right that stemmed from the allegations last month and elected to press charges when they came to campus last week to assist their son in moving out for the semester.

How is that apparent? That sounds like pure speculation on your part.

Wasn't DeerPark bashed unmercifully in the other thread for posting that he had info that the Basillio assertations had some legitimacy?

I have no idea, but from the events at hand, he seems to have more credibility on the matter than you.

It's not exactly a big leap.

Exactly.

I hate that the story from a few weeks back seems to hold some water. IF- IF he stole items from teammates, I find it difficult to believe he stays. Bad deal all around.

I hate to see anyone throw away a great chance in life...... Hope he can straighten up, even if his second chance isn't here.

I don't believe so. Deerpark tried to keep it quiet.

I'm sorry this appears to be true, but I sure as hell won't be apologizing for not believing a Basilio rumor. He throws sh!t against the wall, and every now and then it sicks.

Yes, Basilio just guessed that Cameron Clear stole stuff.

He's been wrong in the past, but he's not "wrong about everything" as some want to believe.

Again, parents cannot press charges. They can pressure the victim to pursue charges. The victim or victims's are adults so they will have to sign the warrant.

If a kid has thrown away an opportunity like this with a team I love, the last thing I would do is gloat that I was right about it. I just don't get some people.

I'm assuming since he is charged with possessing stolen property he didn't actually steal it right?

If the parents owned property that was stolen (a laptop they gave to their son for school for example), then they can probably press charges.

Not what I said, or insinuated. He got this one right. He's still batting .100 and has ruined his reputation. Reporting one accurate story doesn't change that.

More like his caller got it right. That's what was posted here anyway.

He promotes every negative rumor he comes across, unfortunately this one appears to be true.

I say they charged him with that bc they haven't got the evidence they need to charge him with that. So they slapped a charge they could prove for now

It just seems like Dooley would have talked with all parents of involved players and come to some kind of resolution within the "football family". If everyone wasn't on board with whatever restitution or punishment was indicated at the time then it seems like it would be pointless to have continued at that point and go forward as if everything was handled and under control.

If everyone wasn't on board and Dooley still tried to act like it was under control, I wouldn't be surprised at all.
