Serious about? Of course he’s serious about Tennessee. I wish the questioner had framed that question in a more specific form…like, does Tennessee lead? Is Tennessee in his top 2 or 3? What are Tennessee’s chances? Of course he’s serious about Tennessee. We all know that.

Pretty sure everyone agrees with that and most probably feel it will be months before those type questions will be answered with any accuracy.

Not that it matters but AP has not drifted from what he said a week ago....

They typically don’t do much…. They never touched us in the 90’s when we did similar things and now we have the cover of nil deals.

In all seriousness, a Knoxville home builder could offer an NIL deal in which a home is used as compensation for advertisements. That would likely never happen, BUT it could.

Man I'd love to be a big time athlete in these times of football.So much money to be made and you could possibly set ur future before even stepping on campus.Wish they get the wild wild west part of it corrected cause I believe this could work.You just can't have everyone running around all willy nilly tossing money around though somebody has to keep the reigns on things.

That’s great news if your actually sure they didn’t just get the gear for free by each program. Wouldn’t you think they’d all wine and dine his whole family? Not trying to be negative or discredit your comment, just curious what makes you think this? Cause if that’s the case, that’s fantastic news. When there’s smoke there’s usually a fire.

But they could choose to do something at any point. That’s what you are missing. Do t be afraid of the NCAA you said. What happens if they did decide to do something and we were caught doing more shady stuff?
