So ........ do you pronounce his last name:
2-oh'-2-oh
or
toe'-uh-toe'-uh?

I've heard both ways (and many others) on podcasts.
Anybody got the 411 on this one.
(If he signs, we need to pray for Bob Kesling, lol.)

Weirdest spelling I ever saw for Toot Toot.

I'm drowning.
Help (gulp ... water ... everything turning black ... it's so quiet ... where am I ... bbq).

Not to be a grammar nazi or whatever, but, what syllable(s) is/are stressed?
That makes all the difference in the world when seeing it in print, then pronouncing it.
Thanks a lot.

The first oh.

Toe-OH-toe-oh is how I've heard the VQ podcast say it.

Heard someone else say Toe-uh Toe-uh

Start with the cadence you would use to say:
"DeSoto"

Okay, now add a stressed long O sound to the end, i.e.

DeSoto-Oh

Now replace the DeS with the number 2.

2-oto-Oh

Does that make sense?

Edit: it might be "toe" instead of "2," but I'm pretty sure I stressed the right syllables.

Yes, and thanks for the reply.

So you're saying (no pun intended):
two oh' two Oh'
or
two Oh' two oh'

OR, per your edit:
toe oh' toe Oh'
or
toe Oh' toe oh'

I think you're pointing to the first one.
It sounds like two stressed syllables with the desoto+long o reference.

Thank you. By far, best explanation I've heard.
