BYU will beat Yewtah tomorrow night. You guys should watch and learn. BYU is going to put on a whippin.

SEC's overrated and not that good. BYU is going to expose the SEC come next week by getting a W in the SEC's backyard against Tennessee.

I remember Utah State singing that same tune 5 years ago. It was 28-0 or so before they ever got off the bus. Same crap you're saying, great QB we play good D, Tennessee is down, yadda yadda yadda. I was living in Cache valley at the time. I tried telling them but they wouldn't listen. Utes are gonna start the beat down tomorrow night, and next week WGWTFA. Those same Aggies fans haven't spoken to me since that whoopin we handed them. You got good line play, but no speed outside or in your secondary. I'll be in SLC tomorrow, but I ain't going anywhere near that glorified practice facility. Lavell Edwards stadium is nothing special either. The wall of noise awaits you next week in Knoxville.

Utah State lost their entire OL, starting RB, and all starting WR. They also lost 6 of their top 9 tacklers. I know SEC fans are accustomed to next man up reloading, but it doesn’t happen in Ogden, Utah. They have a QB and a couple LBs. Their roster aligned the last couple years while ours transitioned from Mendenhall to Sitake. Bizarro time is done. As the rosters currently stand, BYU is 17 points better than USU.

BYU Dad,

I am recording tonight's Holy War game (it starts 10:15 pm east coast time and I start work at 7 am tomorrow so I doubt I will watch the whole thing). I should get around to really watching it tomorrow afternoon to break you guys down. I would really love to see how you feel about their performance tonight since you know the team better. I know a lot of posters here would like to hear a scouting report from you.

I was listening to Mark Packer on ESPNU Sirius radio yesterday.
He said that both schools don’t like the name Holy War for this game.
He said that They prefer Church vs State.
Is that true?

I've never heard Church vs. State in reference to the Holy War. That's dumb and that guy don't know what he's talking about.

Everyone calls it the Holy War around here and tonight BYU will crush the infidels. A lot of Utah fans tend to be less than desirable, don't go to church, drink beer, and walk around with goatees. Classless folks for sure.

In fact, when the Yewts beat BYU at sports, there can be retribution. Like a few years ago after Utah had beat BYU at football for a few years, the state legislature got involved and audited Utah's athletic department to send a signal not to eff with BYU too much because BYU is the lord's team and must be treated as such. True story.
