None of those teams are in the SEC. I would even argue that Fulmer's best teams would struggle to compete in today's SEC. Just seems like the season is longer and much more of a grind than in the past.
I will disagree on Fulmer's teams struggling against today's SEC. Fulmer's talent in the '90s would rate right there with what Saban has had. We were constantly having guys drafted in the 1st round and at one time had more NFL players than anybody. To say Fulmer underachieved with the talent he had would be an understatement. He should have had more SEC championships And at least played for a few more NC. But when it comes down to pure talent those '90s Fulmer teams could play with anybody and would win the majority of the games.
