I enjoy a good hoppy beer when I'm having a few with dinner. A good summer or winter craft will do at times.
But when I'm binge hammering all day on the lake or beach a Bud Light Lime is a better choice than a rich dark beer.
For those claiming Bud Light and Bud Light Lime is crap - entertain us with your choice of beers.
My favorite choices for drinking a few: Magic Hat #9, Sam IPA, Pete's Winter, Bosco's Midtown Brown.
My favorite choices for drinking all day and not getting bloated: Bud Light and Bud Light Lime.

Even when I'm pounding beers in the summer all day I don't do Bud products if I am buying. I'd do Miller lite before that but usually I stick to beers with flavor like new castle, sierra Nevada, redhook, etc. Now in college I drank whatever was on sale, natty lite, Busch lite Et all

My old man is a Miller Lite man. I drank it for years just because it was easily accessible. Then I switched to Coors Light in college, then Bud Light later, for no particular reason that I can recall.
Now when I have a Miller Lite, it tastes sweet. No bitter, hoppy flavor at all - even with the "triple hops". Coors light is very bland. Bud Light is the only light beer of the major distributors that fits my palate. I fully expect that to change over the next 15 years too.
