You'd think that if he were going to transfer he would have done so by now. The semester's been over for--what?--a couple weeks or so now? If he were dead set on transferring, one would figure he'd already have been long gone and have his transfer papers ready to go as soon as the penalty deadline passed.

I think we have about 60-65% chance of getting him back. That % increases the longer it goes without him announcing his leaving.

If the rumor is true that BB's father is visiting this Tuesday, then I think we have a good shot. If the Browns were fully decided on transferring, why would Mr. Brown even make the trip?

I'm still very skeptical, but also hopeful. The evidence at the moment points to him staying, in my opinion.

Hate to give a negative type point of view but he could be "visiting" to help him move back.

If brown transfers, can he just show up at some college and be admitted, whenever he wants? Nice!!!!

Yes, but he would have to pay his first year. (If I understand correctly)...He would use his redshirt year his first year because he would have to sit out if he transferred FBS to FBS. If he went to an FCS school (IAA) he could play and be on scholarship there and not have to pay. Every rumor I have seen has been him going to Kansas State though, which would mean he would have to sit out a year and pay his tuition.

i mean im sorry, i want him to stay but this is rediculous. he oviously wants to stay so he should just tell him father to shut it. he is a adult now and can make his own decisions. he has a schollership so he doesint need money or anything...this is just weird, this kid needs to wake up...after the type of recruitment he had no wonder miami and alot of schools backed off. they probably didint want to put up with his dad

lulz

Do you think that the rumors of super conferences being formed has anything to do with his indecision? I can see Kansas State being left out in the cold with several other teams if the Big 10 and Sec raid the Big 12.

I'm getting tired of all this waiting. I wish Brown would hold another presser to clear up some of the confusion about what he might do.

It seems to me if he was going to stay he would announce it. I'm not going to lose any sleep either way. I don't think he will be the starting RB, but I do think he could play and help the team out. If he stays great, if he doesn't we have plenty of quality depth.

his dad probably just wants the best for the son, and he might be worried about the state of the program.

Maybe. Or maybe he's like Chris and CJ Leak's dad who was constantly meddling with his sons and the coaches.

I agree to an extent, but I'm not just comparing their numbers. I'm looking at the skills they displayed taking into account what they were given by their respective O-lines.

Richardson and Ingram ran behind the same line and Brown and Hardesty ran behind the same line. Richardson was a lot closer to the Heisman winning back than Brown was to a top tier SEC back in Hardesty.

Brown was closer to Hardesty than TR was to Ingram. Hardesty and Brown were statistically interchangeable.

Hardesty - 4.8 YPC
Brown - 4.6 YPC

Ingram - 6.1 YPC
Richardson - 5.2 YPC

no hardesty would pound all night like workhorse and fight and drag and make big time moves. Brown would come in with all this hype and supposed great blend of speed power and great moves and plow straight up the middle. No vision. Overrated speed. I hope he comes back but he should be the back up if he does.

Richardson shredded Florida and Texas, Brown crapped his pants against the good teams and shredded the WKUs of the country. Try watching the guys play maybe.

I did and I think Brown is better than Poole. I don't think it is that close either. Just my opinion. Poole is a very good back but I think Brown can do more. I don't remember any pooped pants either.

the only thing that would suggest brown is better is the recruiting rankings

and the last coaching staff. He was #2 on the depth chart for a reason. I guess we will get the conspiracy against Poole crowd now so I will just agree to disagree with some of you.

You mean the fact that Poole picked up yardage in garbage time doesn't lead you to believe he is better than a guy who averaged almost as many yards per carry as a guy who will be playing on Sundays? Jesus, you must be stupid.

a few of TR's biggest games were against FIU, N Texas and UTC (actually 35% of his season total).

I thought I was going to be left out on my own against the bleedin' orange, talent be d@m*ed crowd.

Never said Poole is better than Brown. I think Richardson is miles better than Brown though.

I just don't understand what about last year's performance would lead anyone to think that Brown was so much better than Poole. Brown got plenty of touches and looked okay, Poole never really got a chance.

I would like to see Brown back because I do believe he is either our #1 or #2 back if he's here.

Thats the reason he quit. Its pretty obvious. Poole was a terror in spring brown knew he couldnt compete
