If he comes back, hopefully he makes the announcement soon, so he can do the summer workouts. Or he may wait until the end of the summer so he doesn't have to do all that work in the heat.

Does anybody on Volnation really believe Bryce Brown is going to stay at UT? If so, please stand up! No way this kid is staying. He is not going to skip spring practice and stay on the team. He is finishing up the semester because he is serious about academics, so he can transfer. I hope I'm wrong, but I'm not. Bryce Brown will never play another game wearing UT orange.

Bryce Brown will be a Vol...AGAIN!

BOOK IT!

June 1st!

Dooley comments on BB in an article about the caravan stop in Columbia,

I asked him toward the end of the session about Bryce Brown, the talented young running back who abruptly left UT before spring practice. I'd heard veteran Knoxville radio host Jimmy Hyams said today that it was "at least 50-50" that Brown could in fact be back with the Vols, despite his departure and absence.

Dooley's response? Borderline incredulous. He's pretty tired of the Brown talk, and he sure didn't want to hear a question coming from me in, of all places, Columbia, S.C. (PS - It's not like he was mad at me. Just couldn't believe the question came up.)

"There's no new news. (sort of laughs, looks at UT PR person) I love it. (told about the "50-50" line) Based on what? I wish Bryce would tell me that.

"There's been no new news on Bryce. Everybody loves creating the story. Here are the facts: The facts are we reached a point prior to the spring when we said he was going to leave the program. And there's been no indication that he was coming back, since that time. And, so, this has been just tremendous fodder for the fans, to speculate. I don't know what else to say on it."

Like I stated earlier, what my buddy told me could be wrong and carries no weight whatsoever. But I trust the guy, he isn't wrong often.

And he isn't a UT fan if that means anything.

Here's to hoping BB comes back to play some ball! :toast:

After 2 coaching searches, I will never trust a "buddy", "friend", "inside source", MH's pet cat, Haslam's foremer step-sister's hairdresser or anything other than a presser anymore LOL

I'm hoping Bryce's camp comes out with some news soon about his decision. UT needs to get him involved in summer workouts.

On 104.5 in Nashville Hyam was just on the radio and said that BB's dad is coming into town this coming Tuesday, at first he was the one pushing for the transfer and has since layed off a little bit. He said a source close to Bryce has said BB wants to stay and his dad still wants him north, but has ceased pressuring him to go north.

it's still not fair to compare when one of the guys had to dodge d-linemen almost before the handoff and the other had his first contact 2yds past the los. Not saying TR wasn't very good but he didn't have 2 265lb walk-ons trying to make holes for him

+1

I guess he enjoyed his presser so much last year that he's decided to do it every year.

BB will be a Vol. Just taking my buddy's word for it. Which has no weight to any of yall, but im just sayin.
