Will Bryce Brown return to play (be listed on a gameday roster) for Tennessee?

I heard Bryce Brown has a list of demands he wants action first before committing to come back (playing time, etc.). When will he be meeting with Dooley?

I don't necessarily believe this. But if it's true he needs to take himself back to Kansas.

Dooley is not the kind of man to break in that kind of situation. But I hope he swallows his pride and grants every single one of them JMO

no way in hell brown will beat poole out for the starting job by the time the oregon game roles around. maybe mid season he might take over, but i even doubt that. he will get carries either way, just not as much as most people seem to think.

From what I've read Poole has outplayed Brown every chance he's gotten and if our previous head coach wasn't dead set on keeping a promise that landed us the #1 highschool player then Poole would have been #2 last year...

Poole was what a sophmore. And Brown was a true freshman and was injured. I cant compare last year because Poole never played. But you need to take in account he was a true freshman. Believe me I saw Poole get snaps as a freshman and Bryce looked 10 times better. Anyone who remembers poole as a freshman will not disagree. Now all that being said Poole looks good and maybe he would have taken the number 2 spot. All I am saying is Brown has more pure talent than Poole did as a freshman. I am not saying which one would be more productive. This year would be the year you would see our future starting TB emerge.

The few carries Poole got as a freshmen I thought he looked pretty darn good. I just think he got the shaft last year because of Hardesty running so well and Kiffin wanting to get his "prize" in there. If Poole got the carries Brown did last year I think he does just as good if not better.

I am not disputing that Poole is not a serious talent. Maybe some of that stuff did happen. Knowing Kiff it probably did. I think both guys would have to battle all fall before a starter was named. Sorry but what I remember poole did not look near as good as Bryce.

I really hope Bryce comes back; it'll be a nice boost for the season. I've already written him off as gone, though.

Maybe it's just me, but I don't want a coach that caters to the whims and demands of a player. I don't care if BB is the second coming of Jim Brown.

What's up with this guy? He must figure Kansas State is in worse shape than us. Either that or he sees all the young offensive talent here and knows it's going to be good in a couple of years. Sheet or get off the pot Brown.

I think Dooley has played his cards perfectly in this particular situation. Nothing good can come from begging players to stay if they don't want to be here. If BB's dad is the catalyst, then I would imagine the 18-22 year olds on the team will completely understand BB's predicament. If BB is contrite and really wants to be here, this will all be water under the bridge.

LOL at how everyone said Bryce was the stuff when he got here. My how things have changed since he decided to stick it to us. I think most people are just pissed he is gone.......

So he is staying now. Well by all means fill me in. Last I heard he was finishing the semester and the rest is just speculation. But if you are in the know help me out.....

Not saying I have any more info than what you have read here, but BB is not gone and he hasnt "stuck it" to anyone.

^No one knows but him, and maybe CDD I would say. There is speculation that he will, or wants to atleast, but I haven't seen any official decision!!

I hope he does to add depth the running game, he, Poole, and Oku would make a killer trio!!

All I'm saying is I think he would have been back with the team by now if he was staying. Unless he has serious issues going on that the public does not know about I say let him go too much drama. He stays, he goes, it is up to him. We will be good with Poole. He is and will be a great back though.

We all will but with all the injuries he had early on I am excited for him to get his shot in the NFL. He was a beast last year.
