You can drop the innocent act crap. Your comment about posting 300 about Pryor on the OSU board shows you recognize that more fans visit the boards of elite programs, like theirs and ours, but not Oregon's.

You came here to promote Oregon to Brown, in the event he or Butler reads this board and not yours. And why wouldn't they? This board has over 21,000 members and usually between 1,000 to 2,000 members online. The best Oregon board probably doesn't field that much traffic all season. Thus, coming here is about the only logical thought you've had.

The fact that Oregon's program sux in comparison to UT's and that we've documented that should be sufficient for you and Brown, if he does read this. Now, what you've done is to give us reason demonstrate just how inferior the Oregon Ducks are to UT. Perhaps you did the Ducks the same favor with Pryor last year and it wasn't until the OSU posters pointed out the stark inferiority of the Ducks that Pryor realized how stupid it would have been for him to play for the Ducks instead of the Bucks.

Here's to hoping you've been just as successful in supporting your Ducks this year as you were last.

I know. But, in looking at the thread, I noticed posts that I disagreed with about Oregon. So, I joined the discussion on the public forum designed for discussion.

That's a strange assumption. I went to that board for the same reason, Pryor was visiting OSU at the time.

All this says to me is that you are afraid that Brown will read what I've written. Is that why you've been so hostile?

I never thought my internet postings had anything to do with Pryor's decision. But, I did make some friends over there. I left having learned more about their program and respecting their fans.

I think the odds of Brown going to Oregon are much higher than Pryor was. Pryor didn't visit.

I have no problem with the University of Oregon or the state of Oregon, I just dont want to read about it in Bryce Brown's thread. I come to this thread to see if there are any updates on BB, not to wade through pages of UT vs. UO crap. If you want to debate the two schools start a UT vs. UO thread on the main page.

I apologize for being party to a debate that, I agree, has gone on too long.

I'm only interested in Brown information/discussion here as well. I don't think I've been the one to steer it out to conference comparisons, who sucks, etc.

If Brown goes to Oregon so be it....Everyone in the nation knows that the best athletes are in the SEC including Brown. I have read that he doesnt think we currently have the athletes to fit Kiffins system...If that is the case, why would you consider playing for The Donald Ducks..oops I mean Oregon......They have nothing. If he chooses them let, him run around against sorry defenses for the next three years in those God awful uniforms....

It is the least risky option (that he is considering) for us in terms of his potential to contribute to some other national champion. There are worse teams than Oregon, but he's not considering them.

If Brown does go to Oregon, I can't wait until they come to Neyland in 2010 and Mr. Hollywood gets hit in the mouth the way Cal did. I'm sure other people have posted this, but I think there is no way they win here.

What is the current read on Brown? Who's still in it?

Before the 'great Oregon debate of '09', my sense was UT, USC, and Miami. Those all seem like the reasonable options.


Does anyone have any news?

I agree with the Oregon debate... lets drop this before I feel the need to go watch some disney cartoons. Or maybe rekindle one of the great movies of all time "The Mighty Ducks"...what a joke

I've never thought about the Ducks as a real football team.

The movie is quite appropriate because their mascot was designed after Donald and they had to get permission from Walt himself due to the similiarity. If I'm not mistaken that could be the answer to my underwear question. Donald wears yellow, so that's probably what they make their players wear.

Until this guy came along, if someone had typed UO, in the context of a football discussion, I would have thought it was spelling error.
