I had a friend in college that took the ACT as a freshman in highschool and scored a 29. He took it like 8 times after that and never scored higher than a 26.

OH sorry. I will be more specific. USUALLY if you make between a 15-17 you can 90% of the time make a higher score.

I took it 3 times. First I got a 23, then a 22 the next time, then a 23 again. But I could have prepared for it MUCH better, I had already got into the schools I wanted so I didn't care. I just hung out and partied until my first quarter.

Once in a lifetime? Adrian Peterson Reggie Bush. Should I go back further than a couple of years?

Moreno isn't even in the same league as either of these guys. You're talking about a Heisman winner for one and the best back in the NFL for the other. I'm not saying Moreno isn't good; he's very good. I'm just saying he's not a surefire sucess in the NFL.

Doing the talking in the "Bryce Brown Discusses Recruiting" segment! He looks alittle over weight!:)

I made a 29.

I also failed out of community college my first year with a 1.45 GPA.

Crazy world.

I went 30 28 27.. got the thirty my sophomore year. I didn't take it seriously after that score.

I also failed out of school after my first year (Colorado @ Boulder). Now I have my head on my shoulders and am doing well at UT.

I'm confused. I thought the guy said that Moreno was a "once in a lifetime" type running back. I was referring to 2 RB's from the past few years that are better. So I agree with you.

will you turkeys stops talking about Moreno?

I actually have Bryce Brown updates.

Greg Ladky at Rivals just said they got in touch with Brian Butler.

Bryce has already graduated, and he is taking a much-needed vacation with his uncle. They won't return from their trip until shortly before NSD---so no press conference on NSD or before is expected. Butler says the process could go into March.

What an inconsiderate jerk!! :wink2: Why do people feel the need to keep us all waiting like this?

Get ready for more and more of these big time kids to do this, Terrell Pryor started something and it will be a pita for all who follow recruiting for a long long time I am afraid.

Welcome to the board volfreak. And if they didn't keep us all waiting it would just be a boring day in Jan with nothing to talk about. Besides the weather and how we can't wait for the o and w game.

the more time our staff has to recruit this kid, the more chance we have to become a legitimate contender.

he's right, the longer this plays out, the longer he has to waver on Miami/Oregon. Kiffin is changing the culture at UT and everyone expects us to be a legitimate force in 2010's recruiting battles. well, the further this thing plays out...the closer Brown gets to being a 2009 1/2 commit.

Actually, March sounds really good to me. That tells me he has not settled on Miami and Oregon. Sounds like he is looking for better options!

Off Topic, but just reminded me. Is the Pita Pit still in business next to Vic and Bill's?

I just spoke with Brian Butler to get an update on any sort of potential press conference in the coming weeks (AMP doesn't always just get up and get on a flight, we do plan these things

)

Bryce is going on vacation with his uncle soon, and will not return until a few days after NSD. So do not expect a press conference before or on signing day. While going to all the camps and all-star games, Bryce also finished up high school, so it is a vacation well deserved.

Butler says the process could very well go into March.

• Brian Butler, mentor for UM oral commitment Bryce Brown (the nation's top high school running back) said Butler won't sign anywhere until at least March; he also is considering Tennessee, Kansas State, Auburn and Southern California; and he wants to learn about UM's new offensive coordinator. Butler said his website will charge $9.99 monthly for Brown updates. Signing day is Feb. 4.

wtf?

Thank you Matt!

But I hope to god Bryce has higher standards for which school he selects! This site is crap!! Somebody is truly taking advantage of these young players if this "private & exclusive" personal web site is supposedly an aid in the recruiting process. I wonder if the site is getting paid by the information seekers AND the athletes, or if these athletes are getting kickbacks? I do not envy these recruits, people hounding them non stop for the scoop or story, but I can't help but think somebody is making $ome Money off this

I guess we know know the answer these questions! What a "Mentor" this Butler guy is! And I too question how legal this is!
