You're also trying to make a comparison between SEC defensive speed and Missouri High School defensive speed...there is NO comparison.

Listen, it doesn't matter who is on the damn field, Brown will still be faster than Moreno. I don't know how to make that any clearer to you. If Moreno and Brown ran sprints together, Brown would win. Better? Jeez.

Scout says that Moreno ran a 4.55 (I am guessing this was his senior year in HS).
Brown is sub 4.40, so there is a fairly substantial difference.

Well google "moreno 40 time" and every thing that comes up is 4.4....you're going by his 40 time from 4 years ago and I'm going to go with his current one. I gave you the facts. I don't know what else to do.

UT Plane in Wichita today. Hopefully he commits to a visit. This would be a huge get. F'n huge!

My God. I'm telling you right now that Moreno does not run a 4.4 40, and Moreno is NOT as fast as Brown. His top end speed is one of his only drawbacks in the draft. "Google moreno 40 time and everything that comes up is 4.4." Give me a break. You're wrong. Get over it.

EDIT: You can't teach speed. You might be able to shed a few hundredths off your 40 time but you absolutely cannot go from a 4.55 to a sub 4.4. That's God given. Ask any UGA fan you know, Moreno wasn't the fastest guy.

I don't care what Moreno runs...he is one bad dude. Any comparison between Brown and Moreno might be far-fetched. Moreno's don't come around too often.

Let us all join together and pray that God will turn Brown's heart away from the evil one's (Miami and Oregon), and that he will commit himself to a life of holiness and light at UT.

I can see where it says his 40 time is in the low 4.4s, but I just don't believe it. He doesn't outrun people. Typically speed burners have a lot of long runs. Moreno only had two over 40 yards this year.

You're right. There are only 26 backs in D1 with 150+ carries with a higher YPC average than Moreno. He's once in a lifetime.

And you know, he was also running behind a battered offensive line that started all freshman and sophomores I believe. Not to mention his 600 yards receiving the past 2 years.

How many backs have had 2800 yards rushing and 30 TDs in 2 years?

beanie wells - and he will be a bust

RB is more than top speed.....How does he accelerate? Vision? Shifty? Catch well? Block well? The key with Moreno isn't his speed...it's the fact that he can give a guy a little juke...change direction and be top speed in like 3-4 steps.....that is what makes him great.

Back to Bryce Brown? Does he visit or not? Who is the team to beat? Miami?

the longer it takes for him to say he is visiting, the more i think we all are hoping for something that just isnt gonna happen.

I think the coaches are going to throw everything at him today. If they don't get a visit commitment from him today, it most likely won't happen.
