Sorry, but I don't want to sift through 450+ posts. It may be common knowledge I guess, but when is his announcement scheduled for?

I'm assuming that you do realize that his parents could have signed the forms at home and Bryce brought them with him, right? On national signing day these forms are faxed in to the schools for God's sakes. They don't have to sign them in person in front of the coaches and AD. That's the reason that notary publics exist.

UT brings:
* east coast time slot
* major media exposure
* relationship with ESPN
* SEC Football
* games week in and week out that affect the national championship picture and rankings
* huge rivalries
* rabid fans
* playing in packed stadiums that seat 100K +/-

Some of this could probably be combined. I was just typing while I thought of things.

Oregon while I am sure is a wonderful school with much to offer brings:
* much less exposure (sorry wheaton and will5 but your time zone kills you)
* a conference dominated year in and out by 1 team
* less passionate fans (as a whole)

Don’t think for a moment that this has not been drilled into BB’s head by this staff.

I like your post.

One thing that could be a positive about Oregon. His stats could be inflated there due to not playing a schedule as tough as he would see in the SEC.

Overall, why would anyone not from the west coast choose PAC 10 (excluding USC) over the SEC? I have no idea.

Just got a call from someone that is friends with one of the coaches and he told me that all the coaches will be shocked if Bryce does not sign with UT tomorrow.

You can believe this or not, I am just passing along info from someone that should know! Hope he is correct!!

So much for "keeping this thread on topic". What a joke THAT statement was.

Now...ON TOPIC...As much as I would love to see BB here...I am not banking our future on this guy. Could he help? Yes. Could we find someone in the class of 10 to help as well? Yes. And let us not forget...we just signed Oku...who is a pretty good back as well. Certain players have turned programs around...I'm not sure BB is going to be one of them. Maybe, but who knows. I am confident that our staff will have us competitive sooner rather than later with or without BB.

Well of course, I would love to have him. However, our world is not ending if he goes to the U, or UO, or KSU. Now I would not be crazy about him being in the SEC...unless he racks up 200+ on Bama or UGA.

I just think he is getting attention like he is Herschel Walker (yes, I just referenced a UGA legend...ease up!). And I am not sure he is going to have THAT kind of impact. If he does...AWESOME...especially if he is in UT orange.
