He has never hid from what he is, first and foremost, a showman. That is his giftedness.Just took the time to watch his rather lengthy, overproduced coaching epitaph. Talk about cringeworthy. And then the ending...good grief. Just do like everyone else and hold a press conference. Leave it to Bruce to create a full-blown short-film documentary to announce his retirement.
Fair enough, I guess. Just seems like a total attention whore, which he is, to go out when he did and with that kind of production. It isn't really a surprise. Like you said, he's a showman of the highest order. A spectacle was to be expected. He has never hid from what he is, first and foremost, a showman. That is his giftedness.
Why wouldn't someone have been excited? Granted, he was no sure thing. Then again, only a handful are, if that. That last year at UCF was highly abnormal. It's a testament to Heupel that he had as many wins as he had.Doubt you were excited, each year he got worse, it has worked out very good here at UT thankfully
No, local news stations here have not confirmed any run for a political office in the state. The Auburn AD said he will have an advisory position with the athletic dept. How long that lasts who knows.
