Brooklynn Miles

Franklin County, 5-6, junior

She made the top 10 players in KY:


Why she’s on the team: Averaged 21.5 points, 4.9 assists, 4.1 steals and 3.8 rebounds for a Franklin County squad that finished 27-8 after losing to Anderson County in the first round of the Sweet 16. Three-sport athlete also has played soccer at Franklin County and was a member of the school’s Class 2A champion 400-meter relay team in track and field last spring. She has 1,914 career points and will enter her senior season as a top contender for Kentucky’s Miss Basketball award.

I have been expecting her to commit to Tennessee for about two months now. It would be a huge surprise if she went anywhere else but Tennessee.

If I was handicapping her decision, based on the confidence shown by several posters, the Lady Vols are the odds-on favorite to land this much coveted future college point guard....

The jockey (Kellie) has got to be a strong contributing factor to Ms. Miles forthcoming ultimate decision to choose Tennessee....From Kellie's tutelage, she should be able to develop into an even more competent point guard than she already appears to be....

Lady Vols all the way......

Not only will she have another year of HS to work on things... since she is coming in behind Jordan and Destiny, she will have her first year to learn without being thrown into the job

Against top teams, you will need a pg that can keep the D honest. Or the D will drop off her, clog up the middle and prevent her from driving.
