I read that the text was from JB to a student football player and it said "you owe me some action sorry about the blow up" Take it however, but people are saying this kid was not performing on the field and JB got in his face about it.So until we hear the whole story don't judge somebody.

Very true. If this is what he said, then I don't see how someone can refer to this as solicitation. The kid and/or parents probably were just mad about whatever may have happened...who knows.

So how did you manage to read the text in question?

This is a comment after the article:
To all the people on here "convicting" JB before knowing the facts...SHAME ON YOU...the text that he sent to this young man..who is a football player...was "show me some action, sorry about my blowup the other day"..now i dont know about you all, but what i get out of that is this. Im assuming ofcourse and could be wrong, but i think perhaps the youngman was slacking or being lazy in a practice and Josh may have had one of those coaches "blowups" where they get in the players face and demand they pay attention and get their job done. As for the text, im hoping the comment "show me some action" is referring to the kid showing him on the field that he has learned his lesson and is willing to do what he's instructed to do.....Again, i could be totally off base here and Josh could be guilty of asking for sexual favors, but it is my beleif that we are INNOCENT till proven guilty, NOT the other way around...Let's hope i'm right.

"You owe me a lil action for going off like that,..." the message stated and then suggested a particular sexual favor.

Let the facts come out and get settled in court.

I have a friend whose wife was falsely accused of knowing about a relationship between a coach and a student. She had no idea, and the girl lied and said she knew. The media had her photo in the paper next to the accused man, and she ended up losing her job over it. (Long story short.)

Being accused of any sort of involvement in a sexual crime with a minor is a huge deal, obviously.

While I didn't like Briscoe laughing on the sidelines either this goes beyond football. We seem so eager to see someone else fail, go to jail, etc. I wish him the best and hope he, if innocent, is cleared of any wrongdoing.

Yeah, you missed the part of the story where it says he suggested a specific sexual favor. Dude is trash.

An anonymous source on a message blog; well that source is credible.

"You owe me a lil action for going off like that,..."

Listen, Matt. I know you're probably struggling with a lot of confusing emotions right now.

You may feel ashamed, scared, isolated, humiliated, confused, afraid you won't be believed or that the abuse will get worse if you report it. You are not to blame! Do not suffer in silence, as there are people who can help. I'm not one of 'em, but they're out there.

You can come clean...you don't have to protect this monster anymore.

:eek:lol: Jesus!:eek:lol:
I don't care who you are, that's some funny stuff right there!
